Our Cottages
Who hasn’t wanted to learn to surf? The cool vibe at Shaka cottage combined with the natural beauty of the bamboo wood will enchant you. Have a drink on the spacious, secluded lanai or doze off in the comfy two person hammock as you listen to the jungle come alive all around you. You and your sweetie can bring a friend since this cottage sleeps three comfortably.
You will love this cottage dedicated to sea life which is abundant at the nearby Kehena beach. Its natural bamboo interior will create the illusion of more closely inhabiting your jungle surroundings and the cozy sitting area will be a welcome respite after a day of watching the turtles and spinner dolphins at one of Big Islands beautiful beaches.
Welcome to the most private Mauka cottage. With its large soaking tub and extra twin bed, you will have plenty of space to unwind from a day at the beach or exploring the nearby volcano.
Adorned with the owner’s personal artwork, this cottage seamlessly blends into the surrounding jungle with large windows and a vaulted ceiling, making you feel like you are immersed in the jungle. Relax outside on the lanai as you watch the breeze waft through the avocado and banana trees and the beautiful birds alight at your doorstep.
Our most popular cottage so far, Palm welcomes you with its warm bamboo interior and inviting lanai facing the Mauka lawn and surrounding jungle. Relax with your ukulele in the hammock or in the comfortable king bed, surrounded by screen-only windows so you can lose yourself in the sounds of the jungle or one of our refreshing rainstorms.
Our Location
Nestled along the renowned "Red Road"
on the Big Island of Hawaii. A leisurely walk leads you to the scenic shoreline, where you'll likely observe indigenous sea turtles, playful spinner dolphins, and from December to April, you may have the opportunity to witness the annual migration of Humpback whales. Or you can take a scenic coastal drive to explore nearby attractions, such as Fissure 8, Pohoiki Hot Ponds, and Kehena Black Sand Beach.
